Two new performance packages will be available on the 2011 Toyota Tacoma.  Each package consists of performance-enhancing equipment and cosmetic upgrades.  The new performance packages will supplement the Tacoma’s Off-Road package which already includes:

• An electronic locking rear differential
• Tuned stabilizer bars
• Springs and shock absorbers 
• Larger off-road tires.

The TX performance package, available for $1699, adds 16-inch black Toyota Racing Development wheels and larger trail tires.  Other additions included in the TX package are side steps, stainless steel exhaust and a graphics package.

Instead of cosmetic upgrades, TX Pro package, also $1699, adds a TRD-tuned performance exhaust system.  This gives an increase in horsepower, but a much deeper exhaust note.

Both the TX and TX Pro save money over buying the parts separately and include a three-year/ 36,000 mile warranty.

The new Toyota Tacoma will be available at your Performance Toyota Dealers this September.
